This year congress aimed to digitisation of accountancy services and readiness for changes in the future.

The representatives of action ROSE – Igor Zorko, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia/CCIS and dr. Rok Bojanc, ZZI d.o.o. have in their papers presented  action ROSE and its issue for the accountancy service providers.

Dr. Rok Bojanc in his part related to the changes in EU legislation had a 10 minutes summary on the Directive 2014/55/EU concerning the obligations of receipt of eInvoice and public procurement authorities (budget users and other public service providers performing their activities in the infrastructure sphere), whereas from 28 November 2018 the receipt of eInvoice will be mandatory if issued in accordance with the European standard.

The congress participants were informed on action ROSE "Readiness Of Slovenian E-Invoicing" aiming to uptake and use of eInvoice in compliance with a new European eInvoicing standard (EN 16931) by the end of May 2018 by the public service and economy. The action ROSE is supported and co-financed by the European Commission, by the European Union’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) instrument.

He also presented the participants positive impacts of the action ROSE, such as rationalisation and simplifications of e-business in EU, automation of business with eInvoices, business transparency growth and risk reduction of incorrect use of public funds, establishing of new markets of public services in EU and higher competitiveness, cheaper and more qualitative public services for the citizens of Slovenia/EU as well as well as wider interconnection of the institutions, citizens and nations in Europe in line of providing sustainable development of prosperity, new jobs and life improvement.
